We are seeking Production Operator Assistants for our Fort Smith, Arkansas facility to pack products on production lines according to instructions and/or customer specifications. Candidates should have stable , verifiable work history, be detail-oriented and willing to learn as the opportunity for growth and promotion to higher paying positions in the plant is exponential.
Major responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and corrects machine issues
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Coordinates the efforts of the work team on an assigned line
- Ensures that quality requirements are met
- Performs all assigned tasks according to work instructions
- Ensures effective communication within the work team and production department
- Controls production as defined in work instructions
- Responsible for food safety
- Assists supervisor with material handling
- Works 12 hour shifts standing on concrete
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Go up steps periodically throughout the day
- Able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment
- Conducts duties in accordance with plant safety policies and procedures
- Performs other designated duties as assigned
- Willing to work in a closed campus environment
- Able to work 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am) with every other weekend off
- Night shift pays a $1.00 premium
